About the Class
Take a deep breath… and take another. Let’s expand through the pelvis, belly, and the extraordinary diaphragms, both the ones we know and the newly discovered ones we find along the way. Plus, all the secret chambers in between. We’ll expand into the curious, grounding fascination of breath, roaming the bodyscapes and the imaginary. What happens when breathing becomes a partner, a co-conspirator, an ally in movement? We’ll start slow and deep, then puff, pulse, whoosh, and wind ourselves spaciously. Expanding and finding stillness. Remembering that we and our breathbody are not separate from nature, and shared consciousness, with land, winds and tides too.
Bring your own breath ;)

About The Class
Raoul’s class is focused on the historical context of which these vernacular street forms stem from. It is a movement-based class and we utilize foundation as a language. We dig deep into music understanding the difference between polyrhythms and syncopations. It is a class to uplift, but it is also a reminder that we have to honour the ones that created this path.
